The Bluehills Herd of Golden Guernsey Goats

Daylight Dee

Aureum Alinus

D.O.B:11/7/2003
Sire:Euryn Silky
Dam:Moc Donna

Dee is Dionne's younger half sister but is very different in colour, almost white. Dee is very keen when it comes to milking time and the chance to get her head into a bucket of feed.

The problem with Dee is that she's discovered that she can easily pop over a standard stock fence into the garden and help herself to the plants and flowers. We used to keep putting her back again, but to be honest it got boring and it's really not worth it anymore as she doesn't do any real damage. It's only her that gets over so I think we can cope with a little insurrection

Coming from a long line of milky goats, Dee provides some of the fresh milk that is used in the goats milk soap that is available here.

2010

This year we've had just one kid from Dee, and while she may be down on quantity she's definitely kept up the quality. She's had a little female that we've called Belladonna.

Bella is a lovely colour and bright as can be. We're looking forward to raising her over the next few years.

2009

Dee gave birth to two kids this year. The male has gone to a new home now he's weaned, but Freya is still with us and shaping up to be a lovely little girl. She's darker in colour than her mum, almost ginger with white fluffs.
