The matriarch of the herd, Dionne now lives in semi-retirement. She is Dee's sister, was our first Golden Guernsey goat, and the eldest female. She keeps the other girls in line and sets the pecking order.

As Dionne kidded this year she is producing fresh goats milk for the soap that we offer on our web site.

2010

Dionne only had one kid this year. He's already been snapped up by a new owner as a pampered pet.

2009

This spring she gave birth to three lovely male kids. As we haven't kept any of them for breeding, all three have gone to new homes as pets.

Farewell Dionne

We're sad to announce that dear Dionne died on the 20th of December 2010.

She was a grand old dam and at eleven years old lived a long and full life. We're pleased we were able to give her those extra years with us after being rescued from an untimely death.
