Serene is Dionne's daughter and her dad is the famous Golden Guernsey breed champion Cowcombe Oswald. He was awarded 'Best in Show' at the National Breed Show 2005 and 'Reserve Best in Show' in 2006 .

When we make our wonderful goats milks soap we use fresh milk produced by Serene as well our other milkers.

2010

Serene gave birth to one kid this year. Fortunately she's a beautiful female that we've named BriarRose. As she's a full Golden Guernsey and is registered with the BGS we have to stick to their naming rules. This resticts us to one word of eleven letters. So she's 'BriarRose' rather than 'Briar Rose'. Whatever her name, we'll be keeping her for the future.

2009

This year Serene produced two kids for us. The female Minnehaha we have kept on to grow the herd.
